The Vernet Shells are perfectly balanced, made of unbreakable plastic and the inner surface is curved to allow easier manipulation of the special pea.

The Effect:
The audience is asked to watch as you mix up three walnut shells and follow the one with the pea hidden under it. With same simple mixing they lose track of the pea. The second time, the shells are barely mixed at all, but they still can't find the pea. The last time the shell with the pea under it ins held in place by the spectator and still, the pea is found under a different shell.

Recommended For:
Perfect for close-up, street and strolling performers.

Trick Specifications:
Comes with three realistic plastic shells, two Vernet Peas and instructions.

Skill Level:Intermediate.
Category: Close-Up Magic.

The video above is a much better explanation for the trick than the instructions. Without the video, I could not have perfected this trick. This trick is very easy to use, though.

One new point - I just started practicing this on a close-up pad and the shells seem to stick a bit. I'm planning to sandpaper the bottom of them, is the way to go?

This trick is brilliant value and easy to learn in about 10 minutes or so even for me the new and inexperienced performer. Practicing until the moves can be done without looking at the shells also helps with performance value. But I guess that is magic in general!

i am a critic at magicgeek.com but this trick really is good

Comes in a little bag with instructions. It has two kind of realistic looking pladtic shells, 2 rubbers peas, and nothing else. It's kind of hard to understand the instructions so i suggest that Magic Geek creates a How-to video. I kind of figured it out myself, but the instructions are pretty much worthless. Its an good trick, But you have to PRACTICE, get really good at it and you can start making money! Have people guess for $10 and make $20! But you gotta let them win occasionally. But i HIGHLY recommend that Think Geek makes a How-to video. Because i don't know how to and i bought it! Come on! Just make one! The back of the shell kind of gives away the trick.
