    Details

The SIL-X is the ultimate juggling ball. It's a soft stage transparent ball with a very special feature which is the result of an intense research work: 1/3 of its internal volume is filled with a special colored silicone liquid. The center of mass is low and the ball remains super stable on high throws and easy for foot catches and head rolling/balancing.

The principle of the SIL-X Ball is similar to the Russian balls' although it's a very different ball. The colored silicone liquid, unlike any kind of grain, slides perfectly inside the ball so that even when the ball is thrown with a spin it doesn't wobble in the air. Moreover the silicone is injected through a very small hole allowing Play to use an almost invisible plastic tapered pin as a plug.

This special colored silicone liquid is totally non-toxic (normally used in the food industry as a lubricant), and therefore is totally safe. The outer shell of the ball is rotary molded much like stage balls with a deep set hole that holds the “invisible plug” firmly in place. This is undoubtedly the most advanced juggling ball on the market today! Designed, engineered and produced by the same team that brought you the indisputably top of the range PX3 juggling clubs.

Note to curious jugglers although the plug can be extracted and is extremely hard to push into the ball, you should not force it inside otherwise you will not be able to recuperate it.

I Was Wondering What I Would Think Of These, But They Looked Very Interesting And I Haven'T Bought A Set Of Balls In A Long Time So I Went With A Set Of The Green Implosions. Visually They Look Awesome And Are Very Vibrant In The Sun. Overall They Have An Excellent Feel, And A Pretty Nice Dead Drop. I Have Pretty Big Hands, So These Are A Perfect Size, Being A Little Larger But Around The Same Weight As My Mmx 67S. My 5 Ball Pattern Has Never Been Smoother And As Others Have Said They Are A Little Sticky, But I Think It Makes Them A Little Easier To Catch Actually. 5 Stars Initially, And We'Ll See How The Innards Age. Great Set Of Balls! (Posted on 4/27/12)

Ok So I Went With The 78Mm Implosions And I'M Glad I Did. The 67Mm Are Just To Light. My Mmx Plus Balls Are 67Mm But Seem To Be A Much Better Weight At 135Gm. The 78Mm At 150Gms Are Wonderful. I Thought I Would Have Struggled To Catch 3 In On Hand, But Its Been Easier Than I Thought. The Original Stickiness Of The Ball Has Worn Off. It Still Feels Tacky But Just The Right Amount. I Have A Lot Of Balls/Bags And These Are Some Of My Favorite!!! For Up To 5 Balls I Highly Recommend These. If Your Doing Higher Numbers Maybe The Lighter/Smaller 67'S Would Work. (Posted on 1/28/12)

I Bought One 78 And One 67 To See Which One I Would Like Better. This Is Actually More Of A Question Review..?? Seems Like The Silicon Would Dry Out Layer By Layer. Each Time The Balls Sit For A Day Or Two There Is A Very Small Layer Of Silicon That Stays On The Upper Surfaces. Has Anyone Had Any Problems With This? Or Am I Putting To Much Thought Into It? :) (Posted on 1/10/12)

These Balls Are Great For Their Looks And If Your Looking For Some Interesting Balls To Juggle On Stage Or Outside They Will Do You Wonders. 3 Ball Work Can Be Done Easily, If Your Hands Are Small Or Even Moderatly Big Like Mine You May Have A Problem Trying To Juggle 5 Or More. I Can Do It But When It Comes To Attempting Tricks Or 6 Balls It Becomes Very Clear They Dont Like You To Do Such Things. Also These Balls Are Very Sticky, Like Mucus Sticky And If You Wash Them They Only Get Stickier, And When They Get Dirty They Just Feel Nasty. They Give Off A Weird Odor Too Lol. If These Balls Came In A 2.85 Or Equivalent And Werent So Sticky I Would So Buy A Set! Keep These Things In Mind. (Posted on 9/17/11)

These Balls Are Awesome! They Don'T Have A Lot Of Bounce. I Really Like These For 3 Ball And Body Throws Because Their Size And Grip Make It Easy To Catch And Control. I'M Not Really Into Contact Juggling, But I'M Learning With These Because They Roll Slowly And Smoothly. These Feel Good For 5 Balls If Your Hands Are Big Enough. They Look Really Cool When Juggled (My Favorites Are Pink And Green). If The Colors Seem To Stick To One Spot, That Might Just Be The Dye Stuck There. Shaking The Ball A Little Got The Color Kind Of Evened Out For Me. Great Ball! (Posted on 6/13/11)

About A Month Later And I'M Worried As It Appears That 2/3 Balls Are Starting To Mold From The Inside, I Plan On Calling Today And Will Post What I Hear, Aaron (Posted on 6/3/11)

Overall There Are Pretty Fun, A Little Too Big But I Do Have A Small Hand, Visually They Are A 5, They Also Bounce Too Much Off The Drop...I Still Prefer Russian 78 Due To There Size And Dead Drop...But If You Are Like Me, I Can Never Have Enough, Go For 'Em (Posted on 4/4/11)
