POI
Poi is the Maori word for "Ball on Cord". Poi spinning is a visual performance act in which the performer creates various patters and circles around the body. These circles create all sorts of visual appeal depending on the Poi you use. Modern Poi consists of two weighted balls, two wick, or two streamers at the end of a length of cord, chain, or rope. The Poi are attached to the hands, wrists or fingers then swung in circles. Each set is sold as a pair.
