The Effect:
Push a pen through a small case it can be clearly seen protruding from both ends. The middle of the case is opened and all that can be seen in the center is a spring. The spring is removed to show that the middle section of the pen is completely missing. The pen is pulled back through the case and shown to be fully restored.
