Look Out For These.:0 I Made The Same Mistake Buying These. If You Are Looking To Buy Fire Juggling Stuff Don'T Waste Your Money On These. They Burn Out Fast And The Outside Material Also Gets Burned Really Fast! I Had One Day With These And The Outside Material Burned. Trust Me If I Had A Chance To Change My Mind And Wait To Buy The Dube Custom Torches... I Would. If You Find My Review And Advice Helpful Please Send Me A Gift Certificate To Try New Juggling Stuff And Give The Products A Review. :D P.S I Really Hope This Review Will Help You Change Your Mind To Help You Avoid What Happened To Me. I Love These! Best Christmas Present Ever. The Balls Need To Be Conditioned Before You Get The Full Effect. This Can Mean A Few Frustrating Light Ups But Once They Have Been Conditioned You Can Get A Good 3 Or 4 Minutes Of Fire Juggling Before The Balls Need To Be Refueled Or Your Hands Get Hot. I Have Found It Best To Fuel The Wicks, Wet The Balls In A Shallow Water Dish (Deep Enough To Cover The Kevlar Outer, But Shallow Enough To Avoid The Fueled Wicks) And Then Get Juggling. If You Haven'T Bought These Yet Feel Free To Email Me And I'Ll Email Back With Photos Of The Effects You Should Expect. The Only Thing That Lets This Product Down Is The Awful Instruction Sheet That I Found Quite Patronizing "Dismantling These Balls Is Not Difficult. If You Find It Difficult Then You'Re Doing It Wrong." To Be Fair, Better Diagrams Or A Video Link On The Website Showing How To Dismantle The Balls (Or A Dvd In With The Pack????) Would Clear Up My Confusion On Replacing The Grommets That Don'T Seem To Last That Long. Other Than That These Can Be A Good Addition To A Routine Or An Alternative To Fire Display With Staff/Poi/Clubs. (Posted on 4/13/12)

    1. Wicks Must Be Conditioned. 2. Just Before A Show, I Recommend Lighting Them, Get Them Burning Well, Then Extinquish And Refuel. Having The Wicks "Warmed Up" Greatly Helps. 3. To The Reviewer Who Suggested Rolling The Outer Wicks In Water Before Play... Thank You! That Should Be Included In Their Basic Directions Because It Makes A Major Difference. 4. I Bought The Larger Size Balls Because I Have Absolutely Huge Hands (Easily Bigger Than Xl Glove Size) And They Are Actually Too Big For Me. I Recommend The Normal Size And Maybe Buying One Of The Bigger Ones For Contact Juggling. 5. Contrary To The Idiot Who Mentioned Soaking Tennis Balls In Fuel And Lighting Them... Don'T!!! They Will Melt With Air Inside Heating And Expanding Resulting In Severe Burns When They Pop/Melt All Over You. If You Want Homemade Ones, Cover A Wooden Ball Core With Aluminum Foil And Kevlar Wicking, With Screws Drilled Into The Ball To Hold The Wick. Note: You Need Kevlar Gloves With Those. The Beauty Of The Fyrefli Balls Are That You Can Juggle Them Bare-Handed. (Posted on 5/31/11)

Well The Mr. Babache Balls Are Said To Work Better, And Alot Of Fire Jugglers Just Soak Tennis Balls And Light Them, Or Use Track Rubber Wrapped With Kevlar, Really Cheap Option :) (Posted on 11/12/10)

Had Some Trouble With Them Overheating At First Until I Figured Out You Needed To Wet The Outsides With Water, Then They Worked Fine. The Instructions That Came With The Set Described Fueling And How To Take Them Apart For Repairs, But Made No Mention Of Wetting The Outside. Other Than That, They Are Wonderful And I Love Them. If You Get These Balls, Conditioning The Wicks Is The Trick To "Getting Your Fire-Juggle On". It Takes About Twenty Minutes To Condition Them: Roll Each Ball In Water, Douse Wick (Internal) With Low Temp Lamp Oil, Then Use A Bbq Lighter To Light Balls (Individually); Once You'Ve Got One Ball Lit, Roll It Around In Your Hand Till Flame Is Strong, Then Throw It Around And Juggle It About Till It Goes Out. Then Put A Few More Drops Of Fuel On To Maintain Wick(Will Work Better Next Time). Repeat Procedure With All The Balls. Once This Is Done, The Balls Stay Lit Better (Even Through Drops) And For Longer. Keep It Surreal, Y'All. (Posted on 8/17/10)

Very Fun To Juggle, But I Was Very Disappointed That After Only One Day Of Useing These The Outer Fabric Has Already Started To Burn And Fray. I Will Need To Buy A Repair Kit Now. They Take A While To Light And Can Get Hot. But This Is The Best Gloveless Set I Know Of And Jugging Fire Is Just Awesome. (Posted on 7/4/10)

So I Like The Balls I Buy Some I Think That The Fuses Are Way Way To Close Together So They Dont Always Light And They Should Make The Cevlar Tighter Around The Wire So Wen You Wet The Ball It Doesnt Drip Off In 2 Min And They Do Get Hot I Have A Pretty Bad Burn From Won But These Fireballs A Cool But I Dont Think They A Worth 100$ At All I Would Like To Pay Around 50-65$ For A Set (Posted on 3/25/10)

I Was Really Excited When I Got These Balls, But Unfortunately They Do Not Work That Well. The Fuses Need To Be Completely Soaked, And They Are Still Very Hard To Light. It Was A Cool Idea, But Unfortunately Really Does Not Work. If The Fuses Do Ever Light, They Quickly Go Out, But Are Quite Fun While They Last. What I Do Is Just Completely Soak The Outside Kevlar, Which Creates A 2-Foot Column Of Flame. You Have To Use Gloves, But It Still Looks Really Impressive. (Posted on 9/19/09)
