I Have Juggled Tons Of Different Types Of Torches And These Are Still My Absolute Favorite. They Are Heavy, But You Are Throwing Fire And It Is Definately Not A Good Thing To Have A Light Torch That Is Affected By The Wind. They Do Not Have Soft Feeling Handles Like Clubs, But These Aren'T Clubs They'Re Torches. No, They Do Not Flip Like Clubs, Because Again They Are Not. No Matter Which Torch You Get, You Will Notice A Slower Flip Due To The Physics Behind Oxygen Feeding The Flame And Slowing Rotation. This Is Normal. I Have Been Using The Same Set For About 5 Years Now. They Are Durable, But Do Chip A Little. Very Easy To Sand And Re-Paint. These Are Perfectly Matched With The Dube Knives And Juggle Great Together. For The Other Comment Here: If You Are Having Trouble Catching The Right End, You Aren'T Ready To Light Them On Fire. The Metal Bar Does Get Extremely Hot. I Definately Recommend Practicing In Various Light Conditions For A While Before Lighting Them On Fire. Another Note: The Fuel You Use Makes A Huge Difference On How Hot The Bar Gets. Definately Worth The Money And A Great Choice. (Posted on 4/23/09)

These Are Solid, Good, Dependable. Awesome For Swinging. But Here Comes The "But." There Are Definitely Torches Out There That Are Weighted Better, Or I Should Say "Differently." These Torches Do Not Mimick The Soft Feel Of Many Clubs; They'Re More Like Juggling Heavy Sticks Of Hard, Hard Wood With A Heavier Weight At The Opposite End. They Just Don'T Feel Like Clubs. At All. This Isn'T "Bad," It'S Just Important To Know That If You'Re Going To Be Doing Multiple Flips (3S, 4S, 10S, Whatever) That They Have An Entirely Different Rhythm. They'Re Also Harder On The Hands When You Learn Because The Shaft Is So... Well, Hard. Not For The Total Beginner, But Then, Most People Don'T Get Torches To Learn How To Flip Stuff, So If You Can Do Clubs Already It'S Not Like You Can'T Use These. If Juggling In Pitch Black Night And Doing High Toss Multiple Flips, The Heated Metal Rod Is So Much Easier To Accidentally Catch, So You Better Know You Can Do It. I Would Recommend Other Torches For That Sort Of Thing Unless You Practice A Lot With These And Are Just That Good. (Posted on 8/19/08)

I Have Been Juggling Fire For Over 10 Years Now, I Have Purchased Many Different Torches For Different Perceived Needs. However, I Have Always Come Back To These. I Have Three Sets And Use Them All Often, I Don'T Know What Else You Could Possibly Need In A Torch. (Posted on 3/24/07)
