Hello everyone! Welcome to another beautiful Friday morning; which is the time, of course, when we post a brand-new Weekly Recap. This week we answered questions on anything and everything:
Early in the video I talked about my creative process for Moustache and Mad Sponges as well as recommend a set of Cigar Boxes to get you started with Cigar Box Juggling. I also recommend getting an instructional DVD if you are going to start off with Cigar Boxes because it is kind of a strange form of juggling without much instructional information out there. We produced a DVD called the Ultimate Juggling DVD a while back which goes over all types of juggling and Cigar Boxes are heavily featured in that.
The Magic Geek warehouse is still recovering from the holiday madness so I couldn't give a proper tour, but I did the best I could.
I also talked a little bit about my sister Colleen, whose career as internet sensation Miranda Sings is really taking off. She used to do video demos for us a long time ago and can be seen in the demo for Spreadwave 2.0. I feel I should also mention that I will be performing with Colleen at the Lobero Theater in my home town of Santa Barbara on March 7th, so if you're in Southern California, be sure to get tickets for that!
This week's featured product is The Box by Mark Southworth. This is seriously one of the best utility gimmicks out there and you should really check it out. It's a fully customizable card to impossible location, open prediction, closed prediction and more. It makes for some extremely magical moments.
One of our viewers asked about the Haunted Doll which is a fantastic prop and routine. If you like to give your audience the creeps, get yourself one of these little guys.
Also, don't miss out on your chance to get a 5% discount and a chance to win the pre-built Psycho Quiz Prediction that was used in the Magic Geek Video Demo. Watch the entire recap to find your coupon code to win.
And finally, I want to remind you to ask questions for next week. The topic is "Difficult Audiences" this goes beyond hecklers. If you've had problems with personality types, attention spans, intelligence levels, age groups, etc. we want to answer your questions about them. Ask away, my friends. Ask away.
