Stage Fright Weekly Recap
Be sure to leave your questions for me or any magician you think might be at the Magic Live Convention in Las Vegas next week. For now, I answer your questions from the last week:
Congrats to Steven Haynes, winner of the Complete Tarbell Set. That's an awesome prize and we hope that you enjoy it!
Here's a little more information on the stuff we covered in this week's Recap:
I truly believe that No Tear 2 is the best torn and restored newspaper effect out there right now. It is a truly stunning routine that has a fantastic kicker ending. Good stuff!
In answer to the question about affordable stage magic effects I mentioned my rope routine 'Fraid Knot. I actually used this trick for a crowd of over 2,500 people when a show needed someone to stall for a few minutes. I found some rope backstage and went for it.
The Six Card Repeat is a fantastic stage trick. It packs small, plays big and can add a lot of time to your show. It has built-in comedy and always gets a laugh.
Whether it's the deadly looking needle or the giant pop of the balloon, the Needle Thru Balloon trick will get your audiences attention.
The Multiplying Balls is a classic that every stage magician should know. The Vernet brand that we carry is bright, easy to grip and work beautifully.
Thanks for checking out the Weekly Recap and don't forget to get your name into the running for one of those DVD 3-Packs!
