Magic Geek and JB Magic have joined forces to bring you the hottest giveaway of the summer. Please watch the video below for an overview:

JB Magic products have a reputation for using clever, visual gimmicks that have a huge value for the price. We’ve collected the whole JB Magic Line onto one page which can be found by clicking the link below.

null

Every time you order a product off of Magic Geek’s JB Magic list, your name goes into the Top Hat of Winners. There is no limit to how many times your name goes into the hat, so the more JB Magic that you buy the more chances you have to win. After all of the July orders are processed, we will draw winners on video and you could win the grand prize.

There’s almost a thousand dollars worth of prizes up for grabs which include two autographed tricks off of Mark Mason’s new Elite Line, a limited edition Magic Geek Flex Fit Cap, T-Shirts, Gift Certificates, and let’s not forget the grand prize: A limited edition Come Fly with Me made with real Morgan Silver Dollars signed by the creator Mark Mason and made out to YOU!

Hi Sam, good question. None of the JB Products are Instant Downloads. They usually feature some really cool, super-ingenious gimmick that needs to be shipped to you.

Hi Chris: I've been wondering about where your store is ,but i could not find it. If possible could you tell me where?

Posted on July 7, 2009 at 2:58 am

  • Chris Ballinger

Hi Pasha: We are going to give away a few Gift Certificates ranging from $10 to $25.

Hi Trevor: The list of JB Products can be found by clicking on the picture of Mark Mason, Daniel and I giving the thumbs up. If you scroll up on this page, you'll find it.

Hi Joshua: We aren't hiring right now. But I started working here when I was 17.

Hi Brandon: Our store is in Santa Barbara, California. But it's not your typical magic shop. Customers can't come in and look around, but if you are local and place an order over the phone, you can come pick it up.

Thanks for the great questions everyone. keep them coming and I'll keep answering!

Hi Chris. I was wondering that if you get drawn from the hat about two or three times, does that mean you win that amount of prizes? My dad was just wondering about the possibilities. Thanks.

    Rishiv says:

One more thing. My friend's B'day is onJuly 25. So does Magic Geek offer any magic gifts on B'days? Cause my friend said that he orders from Magic Geek every week.

Posted on July 14, 2009 at 5:05 am

  • Chris Ballinger

Hi Rishiv, every time your name is pulled out of the hat in the drawing, you win a prize. So if your name gets pulled for the Flexfit cap, a gift certificate and Metamorphosis, you would recieve all three of those prizes. As far as birthdays go, we don't have any gifting programs in place right now, but he can tell us that it's his birthday in the special notes section of the shopping cart.

    also who is mark mason?

Posted on July 22, 2009 at 4:18 am

  • Chris Ballinger

Hi John Paul, Unfortunately there is no way for me to calculate what the odds are at this time. Quite a few people have entered the contest, but we keep adding new prizes, so it kind of evens out through time. Mark Mason is the face of JB Magic. He is in all of their instructional DVDs and is an accomplished magician, lecturer and inventor. If you'd like to learn more about him, I did an interview with him in the previous blog entry.

    john paul says:

last question how much is shipping

Posted on July 22, 2009 at 6:09 am

  • Chris Ballinger

Hi John Paul, you are very inquisitive. I will answer your questions in order:

    1. Fire products are typically for magicians of 18 years or older.
    2. Our magic comes from all over the world, not just England.
    3. To enter the contest, you must buy products specifically produced by JB Magic and they do not make a bending spoon effect.
"Last Question". We have a flat-rate fee of $5 on all standard shipments within the US. Our shopping cart will give you a total on special shipping methods and world-wide shipments.

    Thanks for your questions.

Hi Daniel, Dunninger's Delight does not require a refill. The gimmick can be used over and over. It's a great trick and if you practice your audience management, most of it can be done in the spectator's hand.

    daniel s. says:

last thing. would you rather get "the bat" or "the raven". i think the bat because its less expensive and apparently can do what the raven can and more. but the raven looks like TRUE magic.

Posted on August 2, 2009 at 6:10 am

  • Chris Ballinger

Hi daniel s., These are really good questions to ask on the Forum, because you will get the advice of lots of magicians.

Tricks under $30: Street Magic Combo, Card Cognition, Houdini Chain Shackle Escape, It's a Match, Permanent.

The Bat and the Raven do different things. You might be able to make the Bat look like the Raven, but as far as instant vanishes, the Raven takes the cake. The Bat is used for more PK-like mental-magnatism effects.

    last question...kind of.

would you recommend the bat because it looks great but i trust your honest opinion.

Hey daniel s., I really like the Bat. It's very simple to set up, easy to perform, and very clever.
