This is a magic prop I have always loved. It grasps attention quickly with all of the tricks you can pull with three of them and with four, the possibilities are Grand.

Now, I'm not going to lie, you're not gonna fool people all of the time with these little buggers, no, but it's a great prop to work on concealing things in your hand, working with slight of hand, and just crafty moves that just come in handy.

I recommend for Beginners who are willing to start small. (Posted on 3/9/13)

This Is A Great Spongeball Product.I Have Had This For Only About 2 Weeks Now, And They Are Very Easy To Use.I Have Taken Them To School, And Gotten Great Reactions From My Teachers, And My Peers. When Transporting The Spongeballs, You Should Place Each One In In A Plastic Easter Egg, So They Do Not Get Smushed When Traveling. Great. Ideal. Perfect For Walkaround Settings. Sponge Magic Simply Blows People Away When Done Well. Be Sure To Practice As Much As You Feel You Must, And Then A Ittle More. My Favorites. I Have Some Red 2 Inch, Red 1.5 Inch, And Just Ordered Some Green 1.5 Inch For A Varied Steve Dacri Aliens Routine. Another Good One Is The Spongeball Toolbox. Dvd Is Useless Except For The Few Basic Sleights. Good Routines Taught Throughout And Its Easy To Change The Story To Fit Your Particular Needs. If You Are Gonna Learn Only One Type Of Magic, Make It Cards Or Sponge. (Posted on 1/6/11)

These Sponge Balls Are The Perfect Way To Learn Close Up Magic. Because They'Re Sponges And Round They Fit Perfectly In Your Hand For Palming And Concealing Them With Other Sponge Balls. It Will Be Tough At First To Learn The Moves. It'S Always Hard To Learn Off A Piece Of Paper With Illustrations. However With Enough Time & Practice The Instructions Will Be Enough To Get You Going When You First Get The Set. Most Magic Dealers Sell Cheap Books & Dvd'S On Sponge Ball Magic. But Of Course You Have To Get The Sponge Balls First And The Ones By Gosh Seem To Be The Ones Most Magic Shops Have, So Get These Ones. Vanish Them, Make Them Appear, Or Switch Places In A Spectators Hand. Learn 1 Or 2 Basic Tricks Or Perform A Full Routine. The Sleight Of Hand You Learn With Sponge Balls You Will Continue To Use As You Perform Magic. The "Palms", "Switches", "Misdirection" And "Pocket Management" Taught With Sponge Balls Can Be Used With Coins And Other Small Objects. If You Can "Pretend" To Put One Ball From One Hand Into Another Then You Can Do Sponge Ball Magic. Small Hands Or Big Hands It Doesn'T Matter. They Come In Different Sizes. So If Your Hands Are To Small Then Get The Smallest Size They Have. To Me It Doesn'T Matter. These Soft Sponges Are Ideal For The Handlings Needed To Pull Of These Tricks. My Hands Are Not Particularly Large And I'M Sure I Could Have Learned With Any Size. My Suggestion Would Be To Buy Them And Eventually Get A Book Or Dvd With Them. It'S Fun, Visual, And Direct. I Really Recommend Getting These. They Get Great Reactions! When I First Started Performing With Sponge Balls I Had The 1 Inch Size, You Should Not Get One Inch. Then I Got 2 Inch Size And They Were Way To Big! Now I Ordered The 1.5 Inch And They Are Coming In The Mail. Hopefully, They Will Be A Perfect Size... Before You Try Doing This To People In The Street (If You Are Going To) I Recommend Doing It In The Grocery Store First. There Is Not As Much Pressure. If You Are Really Going To Get Into Using Sponge Balls I Recommend Getting The Jay Noblezada Dvd. The Dvd Comes With Two Inch Balls So You Could Have Them As Spare Sponge Balls. Hope This Helped!
